Rubberspark.com is a graphic design website that was created to help people in desktop publishing to creative directors to the regular Joe or Jane making a birthday card on their new iMac.

Even though the main focus of the website is graphic design, there will be areas that will also help answer some basic Mac OS X questions for those who are new to Apple computers and the Mac operating system.

About Joseph Augustine

Born and raised in texas, I currently live in Carrollton, TX with my wife, two children, three cats, two dogs and a number of wild rabbits that visit our backyard after sundown to munch on our yard.

I started out as a music major at Texas State University. As much as I loved music (playing and listening), I found that the teaching of music was not the direction I wanted to go. My imagination eventually sent me in the direction of graphic design. I fell in love with working on the Mac and with the graphics programs that enabled me to create new images and bring my ideas to life. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop were in their infancy, as were my abilities as a graphic designer. I had found my calling and was determined to make this my career.
