Does SAMe Work?

That is what I am going to find out. I started taking SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine) on May 18th. I have been experiencing mild anxiety attacks and mild depression over the past year, so my wife and I decided I needed to do something about it. I made an appointment with my doctor and had planned on walking out of his office with a prescription for some sort of anti-depressant. My mother had heard of SAMe, which is natural and not only used for depression, but also osteoarthritis and liver disease. I am supposed to see a “change” in 7-14 days. I’ve always felt that I could give good advice.
